Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Welzo.us (“Welzo,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information when you visit our website, purchase products, contact us or interact with our advertising and communications.

This policy applies to our United States storefront offering supplements, red light therapy products and mobility products. The business responsible for this website is identified in the Contact section below.

This policy provides information about our practices. It does not replace any separate consent required by law, and visiting our website does not, by itself, constitute consent to every activity described below.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us, the services you use and your privacy choices.

Category Examples Principal purposes
Identifiers and contact information Name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, customer identifiers and IP address. Order fulfillment, account administration, communications, security and permitted marketing.
Order and commercial information Products viewed or purchased, cart contents, subscriptions, transaction history, delivery records, returns, refunds and promotional preferences. Processing transactions, managing subscriptions, customer support, accounting, fraud prevention and permitted personalization.
Payment-related information Payment status, transaction references, payment tokens and limited payment-method details supplied by payment providers. Payment providers collect the payment credentials needed to process your transaction. Payment processing, refunds, verification, fraud prevention and dispute handling.
Device and online activity information Browser and device characteristics, cookie identifiers, referral sources, pages viewed, search terms, timestamps and interactions with our website, messages and advertisements. Website functionality, troubleshooting, analytics, security, advertising measurement and permitted targeted advertising.
Approximate location General location inferred from an IP address or supplied address, such as city, state or ZIP code. Delivery availability, localization, fraud prevention and permitted advertising.
Communications and submitted content Customer service messages, correspondence, reviews, survey responses, photographs and other material you choose to provide. Responding to enquiries, resolving issues, administering reviews and improving services.
Preferences and inferences Product interests and communication preferences inferred from permitted interactions with our store and campaigns. Personalization, product recommendations, analytics and permitted marketing.
Privacy, consent and security records Marketing permissions, opt-out requests, privacy correspondence, verification results, suspected fraud indicators and records of policy or terms acceptance where collected. Honoring preferences, demonstrating compliance, protecting accounts and establishing or defending legal claims.

Providing information needed to process an order or respond to a request is necessary for that purpose. Optional information does not have to be provided.

2. Sources of Information

We obtain personal information:

  • Directly from you when you purchase, create an account, subscribe, contact us or submit content.
  • Automatically through cookies, pixels, log files and similar technologies, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
  • From service providers involved in payments, shipping, fulfillment, customer support, fraud prevention and website operation.
  • From advertising, analytics, social media and referral partners, in accordance with applicable law and your choices.
  • From another person who supplies your details to arrange a delivery or otherwise act on your behalf.

If you provide another person’s information, you must have authority to do so and provide any notice or obtain any permission required by law.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

  • Operate the website, maintain accounts and provide customer services.
  • Process orders, payments, subscriptions, deliveries, returns and refunds.
  • Send order updates, delivery notices, product safety information and other operational communications.
  • Respond to questions, complaints, warranty enquiries and delivery disputes.
  • Detect and investigate suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, account misuse and security incidents.
  • Maintain accounting, tax, audit, consent and compliance records.
  • Analyze website performance and improve our products, content and services.
  • Provide recommendations, promotions and advertising where permitted and subject to your choices.
  • Measure campaign performance and attribute purchases to advertising or referral sources.
  • Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before using personal information for a materially different or incompatible purpose.

4. How We Disclose Information

Service providers

We disclose information reasonably necessary for service providers to perform functions such as hosting, ecommerce operation, payment processing, fulfillment, shipping, communications, customer support, analytics, security and professional advice.

Where required, these arrangements include contractual restrictions governing confidentiality, security, permitted purposes and further disclosure. A provider’s role may differ depending on the service it supplies.

Advertising and analytics partners

Subject to applicable law and your privacy choices, we disclose online identifiers, device and interaction information, permitted commercial information and relevant preference information to advertising and analytics partners for measurement, audience matching and targeted advertising.

Some partners process information for their own purposes under their privacy notices. The sale, sharing and targeted advertising choices described below apply where relevant.

Affiliated businesses

Where needed, information may be disclosed within our corporate group for shared administration, customer support, security and other purposes described in this policy. Such disclosure remains subject to applicable purpose restrictions, consent requirements and privacy choices. Affiliation does not provide unrestricted permission to use information.

Legal, safety and dispute-related disclosures

We may disclose relevant information to payment providers, banks, insurers, advisers, authorities, courts or other appropriate recipients where reasonably necessary and legally permitted to comply with a valid legal obligation, investigate suspected unlawful activity, resolve payment disputes, protect safety or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Business transactions

Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, insolvency or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable confidentiality protections and legal restrictions. Any subsequent use remains subject to applicable law and required notices or consents.

At your direction

We may disclose information when you request or authorize us to do so.

5. Shopify and Payment Services

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information to provide and improve its services, including store operation, checkout, security and, depending on the features enabled, enhanced services involving information from interactions with Shopify and other merchants.

Shopify’s role and use of information depend on the relevant service. Where Shopify processes information for its own purposes, its privacy policy and applicable privacy controls also apply.

Read Shopify’s Privacy Policy for further information.

Payment providers process payment credentials and related information under their applicable privacy notices. Please do not send full card numbers, passwords or security codes to us by email or customer support message.

6. Cookies, Pixels and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements:

  • Essential functions: Shopping carts, checkout, authentication, security and remembering privacy choices.
  • Preferences: Remembering settings and improving convenience.
  • Analytics: Understanding website usage, diagnosing problems and measuring performance.
  • Advertising: Measuring campaigns, attributing conversions and delivering permitted interest-based advertising.

Technologies may operate in your browser or through server-to-server integrations. Blocking browser cookies does not necessarily stop all other forms of data disclosure.

Session cookies generally expire when your session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiry or deletion. Duration varies by technology, purpose and provider.

You can use available website privacy controls and your browser settings to manage relevant technologies. Disabling essential cookies may prevent certain functions from working.

Where legally required, non-essential technologies require your consent before activation.

7. Advertising, Sale and Sharing of Information

We use digital advertising and marketing channels to promote our products. Depending on active campaigns and integrations, these may include search engines, social networks, video platforms, affiliate networks, email and messaging services.

Audience matching may involve providing permitted contact identifiers in hashed form. Hashing does not necessarily make information anonymous, and the relevant privacy requirements still apply.

Disclosures of identifiers, online activity, permitted commercial information and preference inferences to advertising partners may constitute a “sale,” “sharing” or processing for “targeted advertising” under applicable state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged.

You may request to opt out of these activities by emailing hello@welzo.com with the subject “Privacy Opt-Out,” and through the website’s applicable privacy controls. An account is not required to submit an opt-out request.

We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where applicable law requires. A signal generally applies to the browser or device sending it and will be associated with an identified account where required and reasonably possible.

Older “Do Not Track” browser signals are different from recognized opt-out preference signals and do not have a uniform response standard.

Opting out does not prevent essential order processing or all advertising. You may continue to see contextual or non-personalized advertisements. Preferences may need to be applied separately on other devices or browsers.

8. Email, SMS and Other Messaging

We send marketing communications where permitted by law and in accordance with any required consent. Operational messages, such as order confirmations, delivery updates and safety notices, are distinct from marketing communications.

  • Email: Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us to stop marketing emails.
  • SMS: Where you enroll in a text messaging program, messages may include offers and cart reminders covered by your consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
  • SMS opt-out: Reply STOP or use another reasonable method recognized by applicable law to withdraw consent. Reply HELP where supported, or email us for assistance.
  • Other messaging: Use the opt-out instructions provided within the relevant channel or contact us.

Where enabled and permitted, website activity and cart information may be used to trigger abandoned checkout reminders. Marketing messages are sent only where the required permission exists.

Mobile information, text messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. They may be disclosed to providers supporting the messaging program and where legally necessary, subject to applicable restrictions.

We may retain limited suppression and consent records to honor opt-outs and demonstrate compliance. Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel an order or product subscription.

9. Health-Related and Sensitive Information

Welzo.us sells wellness and mobility products. You do not need to provide medical records, diagnoses, insurance information or detailed health histories to make an ordinary retail purchase. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through reviews, email or general support channels.

Information you voluntarily provide, and certain product interactions or inferences, may qualify as sensitive personal information or consumer health data under applicable law. Such information remains protected even when supplied voluntarily.

Where we process this information, we limit its use to the purpose for which it was provided, providing requested services, legally permitted safety or compliance activities, or another purpose supported by any required specific consent.

This policy does not authorize unrestricted disclosure of health-related information to advertising platforms. We obtain separate consent or authorization where required for collection, sharing or sale, and do not treat acceptance of general website terms as a substitute.

Where applicable consumer health data laws require a separate notice, that notice supplements this policy and governs the relevant processing. You may contact us to request access, deletion, withdrawal of consent or other applicable health-data rights.

Purchasing from a wellness retailer does not by itself establish a healthcare provider relationship or make all information subject to HIPAA. Other applicable privacy protections may still apply.

10. Fraud Prevention, Chargebacks and Legal Claims

We and our providers may use transaction information, payment verification results, device information, IP addresses, delivery records and relevant correspondence to detect suspicious activity, secure accounts and investigate disputes.

Where appropriate, an order may be referred for further verification or review. Please contact us if you believe an order or account restriction was applied incorrectly.

Relevant records may be retained and disclosed to payment processors, card issuers, banks, carriers, advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary and lawful to investigate fraud, respond to chargebacks or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Privacy requests remain subject to applicable verification requirements and statutory exceptions. They do not automatically require deletion of records that we must or may lawfully retain. Exercising a privacy right is not, by itself, evidence of fraud.

11. Automated Tools and Service Improvement

We may use automated tools to support fraud detection, product recommendations, analytics and customer service. Any use of personal information through these tools remains subject to the purposes and restrictions described in this policy.

This policy does not grant unrestricted permission to use identifiable customer information to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models or conduct unrelated health research. Additional notice and permission will be obtained where required for a new use.

Where applicable law grants rights concerning profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, you may exercise those rights by contacting us.

We may use aggregated or deidentified information for analysis and service improvement where permitted. Where information is treated as legally deidentified, we maintain it in that form and do not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.

12. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal requirements and deletion rights. Relevant criteria include:

  • Account and contact records: Whether the account remains active and whether information is needed for customer service or outstanding obligations.
  • Transaction records: Fulfillment, returns, warranties, accounting, tax requirements and applicable dispute periods.
  • Support correspondence: Resolving the enquiry and retaining an appropriate record of the issue and its outcome.
  • Technical and advertising information: The technology’s lifespan, operational need, consent status and applicable provider settings.
  • Consent and suppression records: Demonstrating permissions and ensuring that withdrawn consent or opt-out requests continue to be respected.
  • Security and dispute records: Investigating incidents, meeting legal obligations and preserving relevant evidence.

We do not retain all information indefinitely simply because you have not requested deletion. Where lawful retention is necessary after a deletion request, we restrict the retained information to the applicable purpose.

Backup information is handled under applicable deletion requirements and retention schedules. Where legally permitted, it may remain isolated until scheduled deletion and will not be restored for unrelated use.

13. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and relevant risks. No website, network, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Avoid sending sensitive information through insecure channels.

We will investigate relevant security incidents and provide notifications where required by applicable law. Nothing in this policy excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or waives statutory security or breach-notification obligations.

14. International Processing

Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers or support operations are located. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your location.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the required transfer mechanisms or another lawful basis. Use of our website does not replace any separately required transfer consent.

15. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your residence, the applicable law and its application to our business, you may have rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it.
  • Obtain information about categories, sources, purposes and recipients of personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion, subject to lawful exceptions.
  • Receive a portable copy of eligible information.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive information or withdraw relevant consent.
  • Opt out of qualifying profiling or automated decision-making.
  • Appeal a refusal of a privacy request where the law provides that right.

Submit requests to hello@welzo.com using the subject “Privacy Request.” Please describe your request and provide sufficient information to locate relevant records. You do not need to create an account.

We may verify your identity and, where relevant, your agent’s authority using information proportionate to the request. We will not require verification for an opt-out where prohibited by law, or request unnecessary sensitive information.

We respond within applicable statutory timeframes. If a permitted extension is necessary, we will explain it. Requests are generally free; any permitted fee or refusal will be limited to circumstances allowed by law and explained.

Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, security requirements, the rights of others or another applicable exemption. Where required, we will explain a refusal and available appeal rights.

To appeal, email us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” Where applicable, you may also complain to your state attorney general or another competent regulator.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

16. Additional California Disclosures

This section applies to California residents to the extent relevant California privacy laws apply to our activities.

The categories of information described in this policy include identifiers, California customer-record information, commercial information, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, submitted communications and content, and preference inferences. Sensitive information may be involved in the limited circumstances described above.

The categories, sources, purposes and recipient groups described in this policy cover our practices during the preceding 12 months, or the period of operation if shorter, as applicable to the features and interactions involved.

We disclose information for business purposes to the service-provider and other recipient categories described above. Identifiers, online activity, permitted commercial information and preference inferences may be disclosed to advertising partners in a manner that constitutes sale or sharing under California law.

California residents may exercise applicable rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit qualifying uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information through the methods described in this policy.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Any activity requiring affirmative authorization will not be undertaken without that authorization.

Where California’s Shine the Light law applies, you may contact us to request information concerning qualifying disclosures for third parties’ direct marketing purposes.

17. Children

Our store is intended for adult customers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without any legally required parental consent.

If you believe a child has provided information contrary to this policy, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

18. Reviews and Public Content

Reviews and other content you submit for public display may be visible to other people with the name or profile information associated with the submission. Do not include confidential details, payment information or sensitive health information in public content.

Other users and third-party services may copy or retain publicly available material. Any request to remove content from our services will be considered under applicable law, but we cannot guarantee removal of independently retained third-party copies.

19. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may link to independent websites, payment services, social platforms or other third-party services. Their own privacy notices govern information they collect for their own purposes.

A link does not mean we control or endorse every practice of the linked service. This provision does not remove obligations we have concerning providers acting on our behalf or disclosures we make to third parties.

20. Visitors Outside the United States

Welzo.us is directed to the United States market. Where another jurisdiction’s privacy law nevertheless applies to our processing, we comply with its applicable requirements.

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, relevant processing grounds may include performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests subject to the required balancing assessment, and consent where required.

Eligible individuals may have additional rights to restrict processing, object, withdraw consent and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.

21. Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices or legal requirements. The revised policy will show an updated date.

Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect. Changes do not retroactively authorize uses that require separate permission, and continued browsing does not substitute for legally required consent.
